# YesCaptcha Docs > YesCaptcha is a captcha recognition API. Send a JSON request with your clientKey and a task (reCAPTCHA v2/v3/Enterprise, hCaptcha, Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare challenge, FunCaptcha, AWS WAF, image-to-text or image recognition) to https://api.yescaptcha.com/createTask, then poll /getTaskResult every 5 seconds (synchronous types return the solution directly).
